In Switzerland our highly productive variety Nomia F1 has been tested in 2018. Both in common and organic productions.

Up till now the production figures show very good results and are at least as good as standard varieties. The final results will be revealed at the end of this year, as productions are still running.

With the organic production, Nomia F1 was grafted on our rootstock variety Isabella F1. This combination resulted into earlier harvest of the first fruits and no wax layer on the cucumbers. Also a higher yield is expected, due to the longer endurance of rootstock Isabella F1 in combination with Nomia F1. Rootstock Isabella F1 is specifically bred for cucumbers.
