Captain is a variety for warmer conditions in particular the Spring season and delivers a very high yield of top quality fruits. It has a strong setting on the stem and a good transition to the sideshoots.

Captain produces long fruits of 32-36 cm with pronounced ribbing, a shiny dark-green color and with a very little neck. The cucumbers are very suitable for selling two fruits together, the so called ’pairs’.

Captain is intermediate resistance (IR) to Px (Powdery Mildew) and CYSDV. Captain can be grown grafted and non-grafted.
