Description

Kydon is a variety for warmer conditions and suitable for Spring, Summer and Autumn production. It delivers an exceptionally high yield of very high quality fruits.

Kydon is an open plant with small dark-colored leaves. It has a very strong setting on the stem but can also make a very good transition to the sideshoots. It keeps high yield and quality in the regrowth.

The fruits of Kydon are 30-34 cm long and shiny dark-green, straight and with pronounced ribbing. The quality is very suitable for export and fits well in European supermarket requirements.

Kydon is high resistant (HR) to CYSDV and CVYV, tolerant to CMV, Mycosphaerella and Pcu (Downy Mildew). It performs well under high heat circumstances.
